Lead Over 1,000 Individuals to Make Spiritual Decisions
During New Year’s Eve All White Party
PR — Chesapeake, VA — It has been ask can any good thing come out of VA? Well to name a few you have Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Ruth Brown, Maggie Ingram, Sheilah Belle, Virginia Airs, James Johnson, Resound, God’s Image (GI) and then there is Stellar Award winning Earl Bynum & The Mount Unity Choir.
This is the Choir along with Bishop K. W. Brown who were instrumental in changing the lives of thousands during their annual New Year’s Eve Service and ALL WHITE PARTY on New Year’s Eve.
Held once again at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion University, this was an amazing night! Doors opened promptly at 9:00 PM, followed by a countdown video looping fifteen minutes with greetings and words of encouragement from Executive Minister of Technology Kory Jubilee and Executive Minister of Logistics James Brown, son of Bishop Kim Walter Brown and Elder Valerie K. Brown, Co-pastors of The Mount.
At 10:00 PM, the convocation center began to rock with the KARAR dance ministry of The Mount. Following was Bishop Brown who took center stage and welcomed the more than 9,000 plus guests who filled the Center for THE ALL WHITE PARTY.
Surprises for the night left many in tears and some even in shock, especially when the church announced they would be paying mortgages, and rent of individuals, six months of transportation for a single Mom and a single Dad, a 5 day all expense cruise to the Bahamas for two, a Greek step show with one sorority and one fraternity receiving $1,000.00 each to give to the charity of their choice; and of course music by the Stellar Award winning Earl Bynum & The Mount Unity Choir.
However with a night filled with fun, give-a-ways and music that still wasn’t the cherry on top! Instead what made people even more excited was the Spiritual Decisions of more than 1,000 (plus) accepting Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. THAT was the highlight of the night as Bishop K. W. Brown made the plea for those who wanted to have a closer walk with GOD in giving their life to Christ, and with excitement in the air and the stage set to receive those who would come; over 1000 persons made that decision. That was in addition to the 2, 092 individuals who had already made spiritual decisions since January 2014
Executive Minister of Music Earl Bynum said, “There is no greater joy than to see over 1,000 souls receive Christ on the last night of the year in one single place. GOD is faithful, and it’s not about membership as much as it is about the KINGDOM!”
