Petersburg, VA — While Howard Myers was just appointed Mayor of Petersburg on Monday, already he is pushing the city forward. The latest move is the new slogan, ” I AM Petersburg” that can already be seen on Letter Heads to Bumper Stickers.
Myers says, “I have thanked so many people for their congratulations that I am exhausted. (lol) But those of the kind of people I am working people. Good people from Petersburg!”
The Mayor was voted into the position on Monday night and on Tuesday, he pressed his way to the Praise 104.7FM studio FIRST to share the good news during his first interview as Mayor.
“I Love Petersburg. The people here are great, supportive, truly work together and the possibilities are endless,” says Mayor Myers.
