Monday, January 19, 2015 is Dr Martin Luther King JR Day across the nation. On this Federal and state holiday Americans are reminded to reflect on the life and legacy of non-violence and justice. Volunteers are urged to find ways to help their communities. The King Center in Atlanta, GA is urging organizations and individuals around the world to ring bells on January 19 to show their commitment to choosing peace and non-violence.
Radio One Richmond and Rolling For Freedom will host a MLK Day of Service Event. The day includes health marketplace open enrollment, voter registration, restoration of rights and veterans services.
