It’s finally here.

Members of Justice League NYC will be joined by fellow activists and friends to embark on a historic journey — a nine day march from New York City to the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC to deliver a ‘Justice Package’ that will include criminal justice reform legislation to end racial profiling and demilitarize police.

The #March2Justice journey, set to start at Staten Island’s Richmond Valley Metro Station, will take members to key cities on the east coast where they will hold local rallies and mobilize with supporters. By April 21, March2Justice participants will have made it to The National Mall in Washington DC, where they will call for action on three pieces of legislation before Congress. Those include the following:

End Racial Profiling Act

Stop Militarization of Law Enforcement Act

Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act

You can find out more information on the legislation by clicking the acts.

According to the Justice League NYC:

We MARCH in solidarity with our elders, our youth, our incarcerated brothers and sisters, and the families and communities of those impacted by police brutality. We MARCH on behalf of Eric Garner. And Akai Gurley. And Jesse Hernandez. And Rekia Boyd. And Tamir Rice. And Michael Brown. And Renisha McBride. And London Colvin. And John Crawford III. And Miriam Carey. And Anthony Baez. And Ramarley Graham.

We MARCH2JUSTICE because we believe that together, we can change the landscape of this nation and prove once and for all that ALL men and women are created equal. And we ALL have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

NewsOne is honored to partner with the League to bring the march straight to you through videos, exclusives, commentary and developments.

You should not bring any valuable possessions. Justice League NYC is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

Do I have to march the entire way?

Feel free to join the League at any point in their journey. Please make sure you sign up before you embark on the journey as all Justice Champions must undergo a training in nonviolent direct action, as well as health & wellness on the road.

Again, you can sign up here.

I don’t plan on marching, but I want to stay involved. Where can I follow the march?
