On Tuesday, June 23, 2015, Governor Terry McAuliffe announced two changes to the restoration of rights process to ensure all Virginians have the opportunity to exercise their voting and civil rights.
Under the tweak in policy, outstanding court costs and fees will no longer prohibit an individual from having his or her rights restored.
Secretary of the Commonwealth Levar Stoney is a guest on the Community Conversations and will go into detail about changes to the reform. Also, Garry Ellis and Sandra Antoine of Rolling For Freedom-R4F will assist listeners with the process online now. Switch on your pc’s and get ready!
