The 58th Annual Grammy Awards red carpet exuded style. From classic black and white to avant-garde to peek-a-boo perfection, the red carpet was dazzling with award-winning fashion.

Black And White

What’s black and white and seen all over? This timeless trend, of course! Black and white was loved by everyone from Coco Chanel to Jackie O. to Audrey Hepburn. Done right, black and white will give you a classy look.

Black and white looks great or when you rock it monochromatically as a couple. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend look fabulous photographed together. The black and white play so nicely off each other. Teigen added texture to her white dress with a pearl cape. John adds some style with a gold pattern on his black jacket.

Big Sean showed us his grown-man style. Rocking Z Zegna, he wore a white dinner jacket with black lapels. His white collared shirt looked great sans tie, giving us a feeling that he is here for fashion and fun.

Peek-A-Boo Style

From underboobs to crotch-grazing slits, these cuts are exclusively for those who dare to bare. In shape and in style, a good cut-out is guaranteed to attract attention and show off your style. This style can be a bit difficult to pull off: show too much and it borders trashy.

For a couple that is celibate until marriage, Ciara sure is tempting! She rocked a thigh-high, no, vagina-high split that no doubt had TMZ drooling for a crotch shot when she steps out of the car.

I sincerely hope she reinforced with tape. Her body is insane! She looks great and if anyone could rock this look, it would be Ciara. #BodyGoals

Queen Beyoncé presented on stage, dressing like musical royalty. The woven detail of her dress and high neckline gave a modern day Victorian style feel. The high slits draped in tulle showed just enough, without too much. Take note, Ciara.

Singer Diamond White used embroidery in all the right places. The silver woven style gave a vintage look, while the sheer gave a modern, stylish appeal.

Avant Garde

If there is any time to take fashion risks and rise to the heights of style creativity, it’s The Grammys. Whether you are channeling your inner rock star or taking fashioning a look outside of your comfort zone, some of our favorite singers definitely made us look!

In custom Marc Jacobs, Lady Gaga gave us David Bowie a la Ziggy Stardust. What a beautiful way to remember such an influential individual. During her performance, she also changed outfits several times, further emulating the rock star.

With a total of 3 outfit changes all inspired by David Bowie – I’m sure he was looking on and beaming with pride! Also – the use of light and imagery on her face in the opening scene? So dope. She had his trademark lightening bolt on her left eye and suddenly a spider emerged. The visuals were great.

Why is a raven like a writing desk? It’s the question we couldn’t get out of our heard after seeing Janelle Monae . The singer stepped out of her pants and into an unusual circular-structured skirt, looking Alice-In-Wonderland-inspired. The circle pattern has her heading straight down the rabbit hole of style-risk.

Color Block

Color-blocking can add dimension, accentuating curves (while also creating some if they are not there). Color blocking always enhances a look, making you look fun and naturally stylish. It’s hard to not look like you don’t know how to dress when you color block. It’s one of the easiest style tricks!

Singer Maya looked sleek and sexy in this black and beige gown. The oversized statement earrings were totally giving me the around-the-way-girl grown-up vibe.

Orange and pink is flirty and fun fashion. I love these two colors together and I love how two-time Best Album Grammy winner, Taylor Swift, paired them for her Atelier Versace look. The barely there crop top, juxtaposed with a sweeping pink skirt, is perfect for when Taylor starts grooving in the audience.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards had everything from Victorian chic to body-baring style. Which look was your favorite? Take our poll below, beauties!
