Is Virginia on the come-up? Could Virginia be one step closer to legalizing marijuana? This is what one lawmaker fears the most about marijuana oil bill (SB701) moving forward. If the bill passes during Crossover Day it would allow people to use marijuana oil to treat severe epilepsy. Parents of epileptic children are relieved they’ll no longer have to risk breaking the law by transporting the oil from states like Colorado where it’s legal to buy. But, Rocking Republican Senator Mark Obenshain says it will lead to people wanting to be allowed to grow pot themselves. The bill still has to pass the full Senate and House.
