Three recent additions to the upcoming season six of Basketball Wives Los Angeles have solidified it as a show we must-watch when it returns.

First of all, Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman and Jackie Christie will be returning. No big secret there. But coming back to the show is the walking meme, Evelyn Lozada. The 40-year-old made the announcement on The Real this week, explaining why she’s joining the ladies in the Los Angeles iteration of the show.

“I know what everything’s thinking,” she said after the announcement. “Everyone’s like ‘Is she going crazy? This is her going backwards.’ I’ve had several conversations with Shaunie about this and we just really want to change the direction of the show. I feel like a lot of the arguments and a lot of the story lines have kinda ya know, been done before. We really want to add substance and depth to the show.”

After leaving Basketball Wives after its fifth season in Miami, Lozada returned to television on her OWN Network reality show Livin’ Lozada that documented Evelyn’s at-home life with daughter, Shaniece. OWN has yet to confirm if the show is returning for a third season.

In addition to Lozada returning (brace yourself) Nick Young and Dwyane Wade’s baby’s mothers will allegedly be on the show as well. Both women conceived their children in a wave of controversy, spurred by the high-profile relationships their NBA partners were in at the time of conception.

Young’s baby momma, Keonna Green got pregnant with their second child while he was in a relationship with rapper, Iggy Azalea. While Wade’s baby momma, Aja Metoyer, conceived their child while he was on a “relationship break” from now wife Gabrielle Union— Metoyer also has two children with Damon Wayans Jr.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, Angel Love, Angel Brinks and DJ Duffey had not been asked to return as regular cast members. [But] a few may make a few cameo appearances.

All in all, this is shaping up to be one interesting story line— and we haven’t even seen a super trailer yet.
