Nashville, TN (January 24, 2017) – Bryan Popin’s new single “I GOT OUT” came out on January 13th and is already trending online and at radio. With a not so loved 2016 year now gone, Popin’s timing is once again in season with the theme behind this upbeat old-school church choir sound echoing… “I’ve been thru the fire, but I got out!”
A featured guest on Darlene McCoy’s “The Nightly Spirit” this week, Popin talks about the new music, the heartbeat behind the music, his love for traditional church choirs and even how he met legendary singer Stevie Wonder and the nick name Stevie gave him, “Little Boy Wonder.”
Hitmaker AyRon Lewis (James Fortune, Kirk Franklin, Bishop Morton Jr.) is co-producing the new music with Popin. Together they seem to form an undeniably powerful music production team. “After AyRon & I put the final tweaks on I GOT OUT, it was about 2am in my home studio and I remember just letting go of everything and giving God the biggest praise… with no one around and my wife and kids asleep. I pressed in, I pressed through and I danced my way into victory until my feet hurt”, says Popin. “This is a victory song that I believe is going to propel and usher every believer from their 2016 into their NEXT! – It’s time we start speaking faith to our situation. Even if you’ve not gotten out of your mess yet, start speaking faith over it, and soon you’ll be saying… I GOT OUT!”
Backing Bryan Popin on “I GOT OUT” is Nashville’s own Born Again Church Choir (CeCe Winans, Israel Houghton, Stephen Hurd) under the direction of choir director, Ron Smith.
Already creating a buzz within the industry, it is obvious while listening to only a few seconds, I find myself singing the hook and my feet wanting to move. This very well may be a big song for Popin.
“I GOT OUT” is Available Now on iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon Music and Everywhere you can buy digital music.
