Houston, TX—February 6, 2017—Recording artist and philanthropist Terrance Bell gave back to the Houston community and sponsored 15 teenage underprivileged boys from two organizations—Teen and Family Services and PRO Vision— to attend the Super Bowl NFL Experience Friday, February 3, 2017, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

The Super Bowl NFL Experience provided NFL fans a chance to kick a field goal, run the 40, throw like a pro, get autographs from NFL players past and present, learn how footballs are made, take a photo with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, and more.

“To see the happy expressions on these kids faces during their time at the NFL Experience was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever experienced in my life,” said Bell.  ”It makes me extremely happy when I can contribute to doing things for anyone that brings joy to their lives but especially to kids that face various challenges in life who don’t have the resources and/or finances that privileged kids do.”

Although he’s now a successful businessman and a rising gospel singer/songwriter, whose current project, “God My Hero,” is flourishing, his road to achieving success has been very trying.

“My mother is a recovering drug addict who constantly and consistently attends recovery meetings and helps others that are current drug addicts fight the addiction,” he stated.  “Being so closely associated with this environment and growing up in it is why I have become a supporter of the recovery and preventative efforts of those who are affected and associated with it. ”

Bell credits God for his grandparents and who he is today.  “I have often wondered if it had not been for God giving my grandparents the love and wisdom to remove me from my early childhood environment, where would I be now” he explained.  “Because of that, I’m forever grateful and will always support these type of individuals, especially kids.”
