Richmond, VA – October 2, 2017 –October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  So in a nutshell, this means to take care of yourself!  Check your body! Ladies do a self check BUT also get your breast examination with a mammogram.  More than likely it will reveal a good report, BUT if there is a problem, get it taken care NOW and while you can.  If you need help or have been diagnosed and need treatment, but concerned with missing hours or days with work, contact CancerLINC at 804-562-0371.  If you need support, reach out to the Sister Network Central VA Inc., at 804-447-4027.

“I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in July 2016 with an 8 inch tumor in my left breast.  It is no longer there. The cancer is gone and I thank God for healing my body, providing the resources and the right people and facilities to help me through the process.  I am grateful for a praying church family, friends and those who have never even met me but kept me lifted up before the Lord,” says Sheilah Belle “The Belle.”  “I am forever grateful!”
