Trey Songz surrendered to the LAPD today. The Petersburg native is accused of assaulting a woman at a party during All-Star Weekend last month.
According to TMZ, the star was arrested at 6 AM this morning and released around 8 AM, after posting a $50,000 bond.
He released a statement on Twitter today thanking fans stating that he is being falsely accused.
He went on to thank all his fans for their prayers and support in a separate tweet. Songz’s accuser, Andrea Buera, is currently being represented by attorney Lisa Bloom.
