TBR — On Saturday, August 4th, all roads will be lead to the Homegoing services for Rufus “DJX” Whitfield. The services will start at 1:00pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue, Richmond, VA. The Rev. Dr. A. Lincoln James, Jr., Pastor, will officiate and Bishop Lawrence Taylor, will serve as the eulogist. The interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
Viewing for Mr. Whitfield will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at the church and 2 hours prior to the funeral service at the church.
Family visitation/wake will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at the church.
The family and friends are asked to assemble 12:30 P.M. the day of the service at the church.
A Mass Choir will render the music and the family is asking all available music friends of the family to please come & participate in the choir – Attire will be All Black. Please assemble at Trinity by 12:15. Thanks in advance for your support.
