The homegoing for the Queen of Soul with truly compare to no other. It is currently slated to run for six and a half hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan, on Friday. The church holds 4,000 and is expected to be filled from “Wall to Wall.”
Currently scheduled to pay tribute to the icon will be The Clark Sisters, Ariana Grande, Faith Hill, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Hudson and many more.
Slated as the Officiant will be Bishop Charles H. Ellis, III, pastor of Greater Grace Temple, along with the Rev. Robert Smith Jr., Pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, as Co-Officiant for the service.
