Los Angeles, April 4, 2022 — When Emcee N.I.C.E. is not on the road reppin’ the rock and keeping it real, he’s behind the stove and grill with scrumptious meals; giving you that sweet, that savory, and definitely that hip hop! Multi-Platinum, Billboard Chart Topper and Stellar award winner Aulsondro “Novelist” Hamilton also known as Christian Hip Hop Rapper “Emcee N.I.C.E.” looks to join the ranks of legendary hip hop artists that have jumped in the culinary world with his cooking show “The Hip Hop Cookhouse”. AULGRAY 31 Media LLC announced a new production collaboration with N.I.C.E. who will also serve as an executive producer on the show.

The Hip Hop Cookhouse highlights and showcases the cooking skills of Emcee N.I.C.E. all while his full time sidekick, DJ Hustle, spins a variety of hip hop instrumentals for him to cook to. Emcee N.I.C.E. will fuse his Puerto Rican and African American heritage with dishes ranging from his signature Lemon Pepper Brown Butter Garlic Shrimp, Cali Brioche French Toast, Chicken Enchiladas in Red Sauce to his Cali Mac & Cheese. This show inspires the everyday home cook as each dish can be made in your own kitchen. Emcee N.I.C.E. prepares these delicious dishes as well as desserts then finishes the meals with his favorite mocktails.

Emcee N.I.C.E. brings you that urban flavor with a hip hop swag! In select episodes, he will invite a few of his hip hop friends over to cook with him while he gives the viewer exclusive recipes, tips, and mealtime secrets. N.I.C.E. states that “As an African American/Puerto Rican child born in L.A. and raised in El Paso, Tx, my brother and I were always in the kitchen, watching my mother cook and bake. Although we didn’t have much, my mother made restaurant style masterpieces out of what was there and had the house smelling like kumbaya. From her authentic soul food dishes to Latin cuisine, there was nothing my mother couldn’t make and it definitely rubbed off on me.”

At the beginning of each show, Emcee N.I.C.E. will introduce the menu of the day and the show segments will highlight each option. “While most know me as a Christian Hip Hop Rapper and a radio curator for God’s House of Hip Hop Radio, I couldn’t be more excited to show the world that I can really cook, just with a hip hop swag.”

The intrigue has caught the attention of Valido Foods Inc out of Texas who granted N.I.C.E. with his own seasoning called “N.I.C.E. Blend”; a blend of rosemary, garlic, and onion. “When it comes to food, seasoning can make or break your meal and here at Valido Foods, we pride ourselves in understanding the trends and being forward thinkers in a competitive market. With our collaboration with Emcee N.I.C.E., as well as the combination of hip hop and our seasoning, you will be able to not only discover the world of taste, but you will taste the difference!” says Obie and “VZ” Vonzell at Valido Foods, inc.

Production is set to begin in the middle of April and will be a first of its kind. The previous success of hip hop cooking shows such as “Luda Can’t Cook” on the Food Network and the Discovery Plus app to “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner” on VH1 makes the opportunity even more promising. In fact, Trick Daddy has a Youtube special titled “Got My Pots” and E-40 recently announced his new ice cream venture through his food brand “Goon with a Spoon”. A few networks are already positioning for it. The funny thing about hip hop is that it has been synonymous with food from the beginning. Sugar Hill Gang, Fat Boys, and Jay-Z with his interest in fine dining have contributed to the foodie culture.

Hip hop has always been a source that cultivated the soundtrack of the inner cities and continues to evolve through music, fashion, and emotional passion. It is a culture that not only makes you feel good, but makes you feel at home. “Emcee N.I.C.E. has an infectious personality that commands any room he walks in and he literally jumps off the screen. We’ve seen him on TruTV’s “Six Degrees of Everything”, heard him on Da Jammies, and seen him on the award winning film “S.f.T.K.” (Service for the King) the movie all of which made us want to be involved. When N.I.C.E. made mention via an interview of a cooking show, it was a no brainer for us as we were looking for a project in the food industry.” – AULGRAY 31 Media
