Albert Haynesworth, defensive lineman for the Washington Washington Football Team has been suspended without pay for the remainder of the team’s season. Team officials say the suspension is for “conduct detrimental to the club.” Haynesworth, who has played the entire season under the close eye of head coach Mike Shanahan, has been in the teams dog house after contract disputes, which left him out of training camp early in the season. Haynesworth had informed Coach Shanahan Monday, through General Manager Bruce Allen, that he would no longer speak with Shanahan.

“Despite the club’s numerous attempts to persuade Albert Haynesworth to abide by the terms of his contract, he has repeatedly refused to cooperate with our coaching staff in a variety of ways over an extended period of time,” said Washington Football Team coach Mike Shanahan.

Haynesworth, who is an all-pro with the Tennessee Titans never lived up to his huge contract once he joined the Washington Football Team. He might also be pressed to find another job next year if the Washington Football Team decide to part ways with the underachieving defensive lineman
