By Sheilah Belle — Richmond, VA – Gospel Newcomer Van Boyd made his splash debut with his new CD, “Saved Man” during his release party over the weekend. The party was held at Abundant Life Church of Christ, 3300 Neale Street, Richmond VA. on Saturday evening with several family members and friends driving in from as far away as New York and Philadelphia.
Other special guest performers included; True Anointing, Delirowe, Dawiyd, James Henley & Nu D’Votion, Sister Grace Dance Ministries, Chiquita Cross, Dovane Jefferson and The Children of Israel.
For Boyd, this has been a long time coming, and finally the day arrived. However the good news doesn’t stop there. Boyd was selected from a list of hundreds to perform on the upcoming 2011 Radio One -One Love Gospel Cruise. Boyd will join a list of more than 25 top Gospel recording artists as well as thousands of fans, as they set to take sail April 3rd – April 8th for Nassau, Bahamas –Dominican Republic.
