The Question in Virginia: Should gay couples be allowed to adopt children in Virginia? The State Board of Social Services will delay its April vote after recommendations for a public comment Adoption Debate. The board will then vote after allowing 30 more days for public comment.
A coalition of advocacy groups want to open the Adoption Debate for public comment.
Those persons who are in support or oppose the same sex Adoption Debate will have 30 days to comment September 12 through October 12, 2011.
