Magnitude-4.5 Aftershock Felt Early Today in Richmond Area

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a magnitude-4.5 aftershock today at 1:08 a.m., according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Residents of the Bon Air in Chesterfield County and in western Henrico County reported feeling the tremor.
The USGS said the quake was centered about 7 miles south of Mineral in Louisa County and 36 miles northwest of Richmond, the site of Tuesday’s magnitude-5.8 earthquake that was felt throughout the eastern United States.
