BET’s Sunday Best two part finale brought a centennial tribute to Mahalia Jackson and the house being bought down by LeAndria singing her hit single “Jesus”
After a week off due to a phone mix up, the show returned with stellar performances that raised the hairs on your arm. If you haven’t seen it, make sure you catch both parts.
The strongest emotional moment of the show was Kirk Franklin’s prayer after he was so inspired by her performance that he broke out into an instant prayer that the “Lord cover and’ protect that young lady.”
The show was chock full of guest performances from Rance Allen and others.
The two finalists were Amber Bullock and Andrea Helms.
