The entire music industry mourn the lost of a true musical legend!
Wow. I’m still stunned and numb. All I can say there will never be another voice like hers. It was the kind of instrument that comes once in a lifetime, never to be duplicated again. She was an icon, a legend and set the standard for an era of female singers. Gone too soon.
I was shocked & heart broken to hear of the loss of another one of my industry contemporaries! Just did a show Friday in Chicago with Miki Howard, Regina Belle & Angela Winbush honoring Vesta Williams!
Whitney, like so many legends before her, continued to crack the glass ceiling not only in music but also the film industry for women of color & showing young girls that big dreams do come true. There is only one word to describe her voice…ANOINTED…touched by the creator of all creation and we were graced to hear and behold & experience the beauty of Whitney Houston…R.I.P!
Whitney was the perfect blend of beauty, music, fashion, soul, spirit and diversity. I’m speechless. She will be missed but the her voice will live forever.
Special thanks to Nolan Williams of Neworks Production!
