Everyone knows producer, actor and film director Tyler Perry has a good heart, but who knew he’d prove it in the ultimate manner right before our eyes and ears?
In fact, if you had any chance to listen to the Friday, Feb. 24th edition of the Tom Joyner Morning Show you’ve already heard the world’s incredibly inspirational remarks concerning Perry’s big heart.
To give you a bit of the back story, today is the premiere of “Good Deeds” – Perry’s brand new film, but before folks could make it the theater to see Perry do his thing in addition to that cool new Harley he’s been riding around on lately Tom Joyner mentioned a dedicate pastor by the name of Corey Brooks out of Chicago who has spent the last 94 days living atop an abandoned hotel in the name of changing his community.
Brooks merely needed $98,000 to make his mark on one of Chicago’s most violent neighborhoods in an effort to build a brand new and extremely needed community and economic development center. Perry then decides to step in and off Pastor Brooks the ultimate good deed. Listen below to find out exactly what went down live on the air this morning.
