Mark your calendars for the 1st Pre-Dove Awards Celebration Concert to celebrate GI’s first Dove Nomination (Nominated for Urban Album of the Year) slated to take place Saturday April 14th 6pm at Cedar Street Baptist Church located at 2301 Cedar Street, Richmond, VA 23223. It is believed that GI is the first Richmond based recording group to ever receive this nomination, making it an even more historic event. Various groups will come out to help celebrate this occasion. Mayor Dwight Jones has also been invited.
The 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place on April 19 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta . The award show is produced by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) to offer the most comprehensive platform celebrating Christian and Gospel music. The awards ceremony will be nationally televised on GMC TV on April 24 at 8:00PM ET.
