Come ROCK with us as we celebrate with our friends from the Metropolitan Junior Baseball League and the Richmond Flying Squirrels at our ROCK the Diamond Worship Service. Gates open at 8am and our worship celebration begins at 9am. Make plans to attend a dynamic worship experience featuring Dr. Lance D. Watson, Byron Cage, Jonathan Nelson, Tye Tribbett and the SPBC Fine Arts Ministry; followed by 2 MJBL Championship Games. Available throughout the day will be free health screenings and fitness activities; including Virginia Blood Bank Mobile and lots of games and activities for the kids – sponsored by Radio Disney and the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
During the month of July, we’ve been lifting second offerings and we are so grateful for your generous support. Over the last 20 years, EVERY TIME we have taken worship outside of our walls, we have taken a financial hit – people simply don’t give as they normally would, but your giving in these second offerings helps ensure that funding for our ministry continues to be strong, even as we step out on faith to touch the world with love.
God is awesome because our friends at Metropolitan Junior Baseball League and the City of Richmond have made the Diamond and the equipment we need available to us FREE and they’ve even provided the Coliseum as a back-up venue in the event of rain.
