Rebbie Jackson-Brown, sister of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, and her three children are mourning the loss of her husband Nathaniel Brown this week who passed away on Sunday, January 6th.

According to BlackAmericaWeb.com, the childhood sweethearts wed in 1968 and had three children together daughters Stacee Brown, 40, Yashi Brown, 35, and their singer/songwriter son Austin Brown, 27.

Brown reportedly died after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mrs. Jackson- Brown has not officially commented on her husband’s death. The youngest member of the household, Austin released heartfelt thank you messages via his Twitter – @AustinBrown with gratitude toward his growing fan base and also posted a photo (available at the link below) in honor of the memory of his father whom he promised to do everything in his power to make him proud.

The Jackson-Brown family is indeed in our prayers and thoughts during this time of bereavement.
