Nashville, TN — Hezekiah Walker’s Choir Fest returned to Nashville, TN, Friday showcasing Community and Church Choirs from across the country.

The Free concert was held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church where Bishop Joseph W. Walker is the pastor.  Before a packed house of more than 5,000 and a few more thousand in the overflow, the night featured some of the greatest choirs on this side of Heaven.

Special guests and hosts for the evening included Donald Lawrence, Tye Tribbett, VaShawn Mitchell, and of course Bishop Hezekiah Walker. Other high profile guests included Rev. Milton Biggham, Richard Smallwood, Dr. Bobby Jones, Sheilah Belle “The Belle”,  Wess Morgan, James Hall, Kevin Bond, J.J. Hairston, Angela Spivey, Darwin Hobbs, Jonathan Nelson, Kim McFarland, Blanche McAllister and San Franklin just to name a few.

This year Choir Fest 2013 also featured Tye Tribbett, who by the way is no longer sporting dreadlocks, in an exclusive performance of new music from his forthcoming “Greater Than” CD.  His energy was incredible and match with his new back ground singers.

Hezekiah Walker Choir Fest 2013 was sponsored in part by Verizon Wireless How Sweet the Sound.
