There will be a meeting in Petersburg tonight to discuss ways to prevent the increasing number of dogs from being euthanized.
It’s labeled as a Petersburg Pound Community meeting and will be held at 7pm at the Regional Art Center on N. Sycamore St.
A featured guest at the meeting will be a dog rescued from Micheal Vick’s dog-fighting ring.
The city recently euthanized 47 cats and dogs within a two week period, so discussing an alternate plan of action to prevent more of these deaths is a good idea.
