Five Hundred Thousand Embezzled From Chester Church

A treasurer for Chester United Methodist Church is in jail after being accused of taking more than $500,000.

According to authorities, Jerri S. Hunter embezzled the money over the course of several years. Officials are still unsure of how much money is actually missing.

Hunter was arrested on Monday for 11 counts of felony embezzlement. He is now being held at Riverside Regional Jail.
