May we keep Oprah Winfrey and her family in prayer following the passing of her mother Mother Vernita Lee Dead.  She was 83. Her mother reportedly passed away on Thanksgiving Day and the family has confirmed her death. Vernita was born in segregated Mississippi back in 1935.
