Richmond, VA — Livre’ stopped through Richmond, VA to see The Belle during their East Coast radio promotional tour.  While in the Cap City the group not only talked about their newest release, but they also taped a segment for the CW’s ‘Faith on Friday’ television special with co-hosts Sheilah Belle and Chris Thomas.

About Livre’

Livre’ is a 5-member vocal group of ladies and gentlemen devoted to the cause of their very special brand of youth music ministry. Livre’ consists of members Richard Tolbert, Ajanee Hambrick, Malik Spence, Ariel Malloy and Kenneth Williams. For the past four and half years they have been building an army of followers in the tn-state area by sharing church and concert stages with some of the brightest names in Contemporary Christian Music, and accompanying the likes of Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Israel Houghton who is featured on Free.

They also worked with Grammy Award winning singer/songstress Alicia Keys singing on “How it Feels to Fly” on her latest album, The Element of Freedom. Now the time has come for them to emerge triumphant with their debut CD filled inspiring and multifaceted songs that span the spectrum of styles across the radio dial — from the electrifying ”I Will Be Alright,”  “Happiness” featuring Israel Houghton, and the soul-stirring single “Amazing.”

Livre’ was born on a blessed Sunday morning during a praise and worship session at Family Baptist Church. Though they each belonged to different churches it was a family affair style friendship that brought them all into the same house of worship that morning. They are all sons and daughters of preachers who once sang in the Bronx Mass Choir. Their voices blended so beautifully and naturally that morning after only one rehearsal it was suggested that they form a group. Each member has contributed to the conception of Livre’- a scintillating blend of modern gospel, techno pop and crossover soul.
