Think again if you thought Creflo Dollar was going to be relegated to flying around the world in an old and unsafe luxury jetliner while ministering to those seeking the word of God.

The board of directors for the prosperity preacher’s ministry at World Changers Church International announced Wednesday that they planned to purchase a $65 million Gulfstream G650 to replace an aging jet for safety reasons, according to the AJC.

The announcement comes after controversy erupted in March over Creflo’s fund drive that sought

the board of directors acknowledged in a statement that the fund drive may have missed the mark.

Dollar fired back at his critics during a sermon

“If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me,” Dollar told his followers. “You cannot stop me from dreaming. I’m gonna dream until Jesus comes.”

In the board’s recent statement, church leaders said the fundraising appeal was intended for a “specific community of like-minded people” among its millions of followers. Church leaders cited safety as a reason for buying the Gulfstream G650.
