There are 140 lawmakers that have introduced, voted on and killed pieces of legislation at the Virginia General Assembly. Hundreds of bills have been introduced from health care reform, education reform, human rights, civil rights, criminal justice reform, life/auto insurance, estate entitlements, taxes, business licensing, court sentencing and abolishing parole, employment discrimination to closing juvenile detention centers. I know at least several of these bills touches us all on the home front.

Repeat after me, I will not allow 100 members in the House of Delegates and 40 members in the Senate decide the fate of my future over the course 60 days. You’re entitled to have your say at the G-A.

How can I find my delegate or senator? The first thing to do is look at your voter registration card and it will list your delegate and senatorial districts. Next thing to do is click here for your delegate and senator contact information.

Track all bills that have been introduced and co-sponsored by your delegate and senator at RichmondSunlight.Com. Let’s make legislators accountable for their votes in support or in opposition of what matters to us the most. No vetting then you don’t know what you’re getting! Clovia “Miss Community” Lawrence
