Mayor Levar Stoney, Sheriff C.T. Woody, Jr., Councilman Michael Jones, and Community Clovia stopped by Praise 104.7 to kick off the 10th annual Send a Kid to Camp radiothon with our very own Sheilah Belle.
Mayor Stoney presented a check for $2,250 from the Office of the Mayor — sending nine kids to camp and a check from his Political Action Committee, One Richmond, sending an additional four kids to camp for a total of 3,250.

Sheriff Woody noted that the great programs offered at the summer camp are a great way to avoid “the great programs” that they have at the jail. While Councilman Jones challenged other pastors and churches to get involved.
