The students of Virginia Commonwealth University have organized themselves to take a stand for the late Trayvon Martin. In the midst of tragedy, the students are looking for an opportunity to shed more light on the situation and inflict change on the negative aspect of our community.
Tonight, Monday, March 26th from 7-9pm there is expected to be a gathering to remember the teen’s life on VCU’s Commons Plaza. Students and supporters are being asked to wear their hoodies and bring their cans of tea plus Skittles in an effort to show their official support in photos as the rest of the world continues rallies, protests and vigils.
Will you be there? What have you done to show your support as the world continues to react to the injustice of his unlawful and untimely death?
