Richmond, VA — Emtro Gospel Recording artist Troy Sneed appears to be setting up a second home in Richmond, VA.  His most recently released CD was produced by Baltimore native and now Richmond based Minister of Music of Cedar Street Baptist Church, James Johnson.  His background singers are also from the Richmond area, along with the First Lady of Cedar Street who is also featured as a guest soloist on the last cut of the CD, “Mighty God.”

To bring the project full circle, Sneed decided to host his CD listening party and the kick off to his new CD, “All is Well” at Cedar Street Baptist Church on Saturday.

Also appearing were Gospel vocalists Lady Taleshia Chandler, Evangelist Roz Brown and Michele Chesseboro.

A special award of appreciation was presented to Dr. Johnny Branch by Sheilah Belle on behalf of Emtro Records and James Johnson.

Branch said, “Cedar Street has become like a second home to me. However there were times, when not only when I was invited to come to Cedar Street and I was happy, but there were times when I needed Cedar Street.  I tell you. there is nothing like being hurt by church people.”  He paused here…but continued here, “Thank God for Cedar Street.”

In presenting Sneed’s new project, Marcus D. Wiley, from the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, The Belle, James Johnson and Reggie B with Radio One Praise, joined Sneed on stage and talked about and previewed several cuts from his new Sneed, following Sneed singing “Lay it Down.”

From the first cut to the last, Sneed, REALLY has a great project.  His songs range from Urban to a little Gospel Jazz that really works.

His fans also really turned out for the evening, with some dancing up and down the aisle.

It was blessed evening, hosted by The Belle and Reggie B.
