God will send us his special messengers to emit to the universe, messages that will create a stir that will express his will. He sent us one and she was called Inez…a name that represents strength, profound joy, humor and love. As Inez went about spreading the will of God throughout the nation, she met many people that would become lifetime friends.
Tall, black, gorgeous and demanding respect with her voice and expressions, she was able to become a Legend. Her encounter with Albertina Walker and the other great women (The Caravans) that would take on the task of singing the songs that encouraged, inspired and brought thousands to Christ, finished her assignment. She leaves nothing behind, she completed what God had assigned her to do and we are the better for having many moments of joy with her.
Those of us that are left behind, will continue the task assigned by God, until our time to join the masses that has gone on before, is completed. I am proud that I had the opportunity to meet Inez, work with her and name her, A LEGEND, for the upcoming Stellar Awards. Inez Andrews, one of the greatest artists of this time. She told the story.” Mary Don’t Weep”, but I weep at the lost of my friend.
