Legendary gospel music label Verity Records has announced major changes and is beginning 2013 first with a change to its official company name now to be known as RCA Inspiration.
Active since 1994 and distributed via Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Inspiration will remain a gospel-focused label and continue the tradition set forth by its old moniker Verity.
RCA Inspiration is still, however, the label home to gospel music titans Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Byron Cage, Donald Lawrence and many more.
The new RCA Inspiration is set to release the annual compilation disc WOW Gospel 2013 this month followed by William Murphy’s new project entitled God Chaser, and later in the year, the highly anticipated release from Fred Hammond’s new super group “United Tenors” with featured male vocalists Dave Hollister, Brian Courtney Wilson and R&B/soul music’s Eric Roberson.
