A New York appeals court panel questioned lawyers for officer Daniel Pantaleo pertaining to releasing the cop's disciplinary records more than a year after the fatal chokehold death of Eric Garner. A lower court has ordered the release of the records, but lawyers for Mayor Bill de Blasio have appealed the decision.

Quietly, over the last few weeks, the New York team of agents and prosecutors in the Eric Garner case have been replaced by civil rights lawyers from Washington, who think that charges should be brought against the officer who placed the late Garner in a chokehold.
